17. On the way to the Hotel

On the way back to the hotel, I took a few more pics of Shiodome. More glass, more steel and in the middle of all this another temple. Even in the most modern areas of Japan, these are prevelant. On a lazy Saturday afternoon, there is plenty of action with bullet trains whizzing by.

When we arrived in the hotel room it was sunset, I think it is a combination of the smog and latitude in winter, but Tokyo has a kind of CSI Las Vegas amber glow about it for a few hours in the morning and afternoon. It does look pretty cool.
